Position Summary 

Reporting directly to the cGMP Facilities Manager the Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for data entry into the Computerized Maintenance Management system, coordinating vendors, suppliers, and spare parts for Facilities Maintenance at Scorpius BioManufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Blue Mtn Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Ensure cGMP compliance in work order management
  • Report generation
  • Provide support in Facilities / QA documentation
  • Coordinate outside contractors, suppliers and vendors.
  • Create/manage spare parts inventory
  • Coordinate with Finance in PO generation
  • Provide support to the EHS Manager and ensure programs and practices are followed.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Management of a Facilities Maintenance Work Order System (Blue Mtn experience a plus)
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented person.
  • Experience managing Facilities activities in a highly regulated environment (cGMP experience a plus)
  • Experience in a spares inventory system creation and management
  • Work professionally with colleagues and maintain flexibility with work projects.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Facilities Work Order System(s)
  • Experience in coordinating contractors, vendors & suppliers.
  • Experience in implementing and managing a spare parts inventory
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

  • Flexibility is required for working hours. Some weekend work may be needed and earlier or later start/finish times may also be required.
  • While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee may sometimes be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
